Manufacturing Range:
U M Cables manufactures the following types of Telecommunication Cables:
1. Optic Fibre Cable (2-144 Fibre)
� in Multi-Loose tube or Ribbon design.
� 2-12 Fibre for Cable TV application
� Duct, Armoured & Aerial Cable
2. Jelly Filled Cable (upto 2400 pairs)
� Underground Duct application, both Armoured and Unarmoured
� Foam Skin or Solid Insulation
� Aerial Fig 8 construction
� 0.4 to 0.9 mm dia. Conductor
Plant Capacity:
The present manufacturing capacity is approx. 4.30 million CKM per year for Jelly Filled Cable and approx. 36,000 RKM/cable KM per year for Optical Fiber Cable.
Market:
We make our product to all international specifications. We purchase Optic Fiber from manufacturer of customer’s choice like Sumitomo, POFC, YOFC, Corning, Fujicora etc.
Our products are being sold in UK, Latvia, Lithuania, Iceland, Romania, Austria, Poland, Singapore, Malaysia, Bangladesh, Myanmar, Bhutan, Vietnam, Australia, Mauritius, UAE, Jordan, Kenya, Zimbabwe, Sudan, Swaziland, Namibia, Guatemala, USA Etc.
During the current year, our sales outside India will constitute more than 40% of the total sale.
