In January 1996, formal R & D of UPS 2000 series without built-in isolated voltage transformer in correspondence with the battery bank with automatic charger and electronics server or automatic voltage regulator was begun. With attempt to improve efficiency to be above 97%, to lower production cost, to reduce product defective rate, production goal up to 1 unit per 5 minutes, to optimize electric circuit design, to be approved by various international standards, we once again has spent approximately US$ 1.46 millions in product research and development. As the fruit of its long time effort, in October 1997,we announced its new series UPS 2000 of 8 models in total with several registered patents and EMC, LVD, CE, UL&CSA approval at Hong Kong International Conference Center, other successful development including Automatic Charger and Automatic Voltage Regulator.
