In 1989, Jingkun Oil Field Chemistry Science and Technology Development Co., Ltd was founded as a solely-owned subsidiary of China Petroleum Material (Kun Shan) Co. Ltd., which belongs to China National Petroleum Corporation (CNPC).
In 1992, has begun to tap the Guar Gum field and introduced Gum for petroleum fracture fluids.
In 1993, sequentially built up the annual manufacturing capacity of 1000MT, 2500 MT, 5000 MT food-grade Guar Gum.
In 1994-1995, began the Hydroxypropyl Guar Gum R&D project and started manufacturing in the second year, with domestic market share exceeding 30%.
In 1998, became the largest supplier of Guar Gum in China and was awarded as the best “High-tech Enterprise” by CNPC.
In 1999, was nominated by Jiangsu Science & Technology Committee as one of the best High-Tech Enterprises.
In 2000, Began to use Nuclear Magnetic Resonance Instrument to analyze the molecular structure of Guar Gum and started more detailed research and improvement.
Passed ISO9002 quality verification system
In 2001, the market share of Hydroxypropyl Guar Gum in Chinese oil fields was more than 50%.
In 2002, passed ISO9001 quality verification system. Hydroxypropyl Guar Gum and Cationic Guar Gum have been put into manufacturing sequentially.
In 2003, established a 400 MB Nuclear Magnetic Resonance lab and improved its manufacturing capacities of high-quality HPG and Cationic Guar Gum to 1000 MT and 500 MT repectively
