i. Quality Control Checks
a) Pre-Production Check (PPC)
Risk are reduced by checking material, components, accessories etc. at this stage.
b) Initial Production Check (IPC)
First finished products are checked against buyer's specification and prototype sample. Deviations are identified and brought out for corrections.
c) Production Check (PC)
Ensure that initial discrepancies have been rectified and assesses quality standard of production runs.
d) Pre Shipment Inspection (PSI)
The detailed physical inspection of the samples selected at random is based on specifications of the buyers and it covers criteria such as design / style, shrinkage, accessories, appearance, markings, color, labeling, material, assortments, workmanship, measurement, packing etc. It can be carried out by SGS or others.
ii. Laboratory Testing
a) Fabric
Construction particulars (counts, construction and weight). Strength Measurement, Seam performance.
b) Analysis
Flammability, Dimensional Stability (Shrinkage) to washing / dry cleaning. Appearance after washing / dry cleaning. Fibre analysis.
c) Color Fabrics
Color Fastness to washing, organinc solvents, hot pressing, Dies, pigments test carried out.
d) Garments
Dimensional stability and Appearance after washing / dry cleaning carried out.

- Follow Up the Consignment w.r.t Quality and Timely Shipment.
