PT MITRA ARKITURA INDONESIA Coal Mining & Coal Trading founded at April 2005 and stand below of umbrella PT MITRA ARIKUTRA INDONESIA GROUP, concentrated in General Contractor and Interior Design Consultant. In the first establishment in year 2003, PT MITRA ARKITURA GROUP concentrated only in General Contractor, and expanded to Interior Design Consultant in 2004. PT MITRA ARKITURA GROUP has planned to expand the business according to master plan developed by the expert and in the beginning of 2005 was established Coal Mining Contractor and Trading. PT MAI Coal has been mandated by CV Bangun Karya Sabumi to manage and carry out all of mining operation process in CV BKS area since May 5th 2005 in Kelumpang Utara, Kotabaru, and was operated in small quantity. PT MAI Planned to expand the quantity until 40.000 MT / month, and the process will be executed after finding prospectus and prestigious buyer. PT MAI Coal still looking for other prospectus and reliable mining site area, and now the expert team doing feasibility study of PT Bumbuan Putra where the site also located in Kelumpang area.
In company structure PT MAI Coal was operated by professional who has more 10 years experiences in Coal Mining company. The Expert working in Consultancy basis and lead by Mr. Djauhari who has more than 20 years working experiences in handling all process in mining site, transporting coal to stockpile and loading to vessel.
In the last of May 2005 PT MAI Coal made cooperation with PT Benua Alam Ceria to work in marketing cooperation process. The cooperation inspired by the Investor that has been invested the capital in PT MAI Coal and PT Benua Alam Ceria. In the next progression PT MAI Coal and PT BAC will stand in Mother Holding Company named PT Indo Coco Mandiri.
PT BAC has been experienced in Coal Market, and in last of May 2005 the Investor of PT MAI was buy 69% of share in PT BAC and also has acquisited the Mining Company which stand under umbrella of PT BAC as a marketer. PT BAC has been sufficient and prestigious record on exporting Coal in FOB barge or FOB mother vessel basis since a years ago. The prospectus buyer come from South east Asia region and also come from China, and Korea.
Cooperation between PT MAI Coal and PT BAC make the company visible to produce and supply coal in 6,300 kcal/kg basis for 120.000 MT / month. PT BAC has staffed the mining engineer team in all mining site area (attached), the same process done by PT MAI.
Exploitation concept and execution based on rule of thumb coal mining is a critical aspect to achieve coal quality and to prevent decreasing calorific value from ROM of coal. The exploitation concepts will be resulted from topografi map. The topografi resulting from Boring test of the site. Combination between geology and topografi map will guide the exploitation process, and in the final will fulfill buyer’s demand on coal quality.
PT MAI Coal has established the exploitation, transportation, and shipment concepts and management. The overall process until the coal sales in mother vessel has generated and put it in the Standard Operating Procedure. The SOP will guide all employee on executing overall mentioned process above, based on target reference on quantity and quality that should be monitored every hours, every six hours, every day and every month.
